Who is that at the end of Fast & Furious 9 in the Blue Car? Here’s Answer.
In Fast & Furious 9, Dom (Vin Diesel) and his family are back to save the world once more, but this time the danger is closer to home. The previously unknown Toretto sibling, Jakob Toretto (John Cena), is after Project Aries, a weapon that Cipher (Charlize Theron), who might be aiding Jakob in his quest, claims is “so lethal it shouldn’t exist for another half-century.”
It serves as a prelude to yet another round of outlandish antics, in which the show also travels into outer space. Can Dom and his team save the day, and if not, where has Jakob been hiding out for the past few years? To explain everything, we’re about to delve into the twists and turns of Fast & Furious 9, including its conclusion and that unexpected reappearance. Therefore, if you haven’t seen the movie yet, turn away now as there will be big spoilers…
Although the driver isn’t visible, Fast & Furious fans will immediately recognize them because only one character in the entire series has ever driven a vehicle like that: Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner. We actually saw this heartwarming scene in the movie’s Super Bowl TV commercial, but we were unaware that it would be the last frame. It probably serves only to demonstrate that Brian is still alive in this series, but it might pave the way for a greater part in Fast & Furious 10.
In order to complete filming on Fast & Furious 7, Paul Walker’s siblings Cody and Caleb stepped in, so if Brian was supposed to be shown in the two-movie climax, that’s probably the path they’ll take. Though it’s difficult to imagine that CGI trickery operating for an entire film, we’d hope that it wouldn’t be more than a cameo. Until we learn the strategy for the following two films, this endearing homage will suffice to appease fans for the time being.
